Job Overview A large metal fabrication and manufacturing facility in Poland is hiring skilled MIG Welders. In this role, you will join metal parts together using Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) techniques. You will work on assembling structural components, machinery parts, and custom fabrications. Precision, steadiness, and the ability to read complex blueprints are required.
Key Duties Include
Fusing metal parts together using MIG welding techniques to high standards.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Inspecting welds for accuracy, strength, and lack of defects.
Detailed Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Set up welding equipment and tools (amperage, voltage, wire speed) for specific materials.
Measure and align parts using straightedges, clamps, and calipers.
Operate MIG welders to join metal components (steel, aluminum, etc.).
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
Maintain equipment and machinery, replacing wire spools and gas cylinders.
Follow strict safety guidelines and wear protective gear (helmet, gloves, apron) at all times.
Grind and clean welds to ensure a smooth finish where required.
Requirements & skills
Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and use of protective clothing.
Deftness and attention to detail.
Proficient in English.
Professional certification (e.g., AWS) is a strong plus.
